Karate club is on after school on a Monday and Friday from 3.30 to 4.30. The cost of the club is £2 a session. Karate is taken by Sensei Taylor-Allen who is a 4th Dan and teaches the style based in Wado Ryu. He has over 30 years experience.
Sensai teaches in a fun, relaxed manner while instilling discipline and good behaviour which is required to perform karate.
The club has been running for some time now and some children are preparing for their black belt.
It has been noticed by staff that children's behaviour has improved within the classroom situation because of their karate training.

Early Birds is run every morning by Miss Watson. It starts at 8:00 until 8:45. The children have use of the library, various computer activities and colouring pictures. There is no charge for this activity, however places must be booked in advance at the office.

Computer and Library club is held on a Monday and Friday at 3.15 to 4.15. It is run by Mrs Borrowdale and Mrs Gilholm.

Children are welcome to use the computers for school work or games and they can borrow books to take home.

Adults are welcome to use the computers to surf the net.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Art club is on a Wednesday after school from 3.15 to 4.15. It is run by Mrs McHatton and other dedicated mums. Each week Mrs McHatton thinks of some fabulous things to make. This can involve painting, glueing, drawing and any other creative experiences. The cost of the club is £1 a session.
