We had a lovely Christmas party! We enjoyed dancing and playing some party games. Then we had some party food in our classroom. A good time was had by us all. It was a lovely end to our first term in Reception.

We have been listening to the story of the First Christmas. Foundation Stage children performed the story of the First Christmas and the audience really enjoyed it! Happy Christmas from everyone in Foundation Stage.

We made porridge after looking at the story of 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. We saw the porridge change after it was microwaved. It was yummy!

We had a talk about oral hygiene where we learnt how to look after our teeth. We know the correct way to brush our teeth. Then we played a game to sort foods which are good for our teeth and foods that are not so good. After that someone dressed up as a dentist and we talked about visiting the dentist. Some adults came to join in.

Reception have been reading 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'. We went to find the bears who were hiding around school. First we had to read the clues and work out where the bears might be hiding. We then took the three bears to find Goldilocks. What do you think Goldilocks might have said to the bears?
