Arbeia

On Monday 20th June Year 2 went to the Roman Fort, Arbeia. We were fortunate to have a lovely sunny day to look around the fort. The children enjoyed seeing what the barracks, Commanders house etc may have looked like. They also had the opportunity to become archaeologists in the Time Quest where they found pieces of bone, pottery and iron.
