On Thursday 11th November 2010 year 2 had planned to walk to the War Memorial in Ryton village. Unfortunately the weather was really bad and this had to be cancelled. However we did all come together as a school to remember the soldiers who have died during the war.
We would like to thank Mr Stewart for coming into school to play the last post. It was greatly appreciated.
Lucas and Amy told the children what they had learnt about remembrance day in year 2.
Both year 2 classes made wreaths to put on the memorial.
