Zoo Lab

On Wednesday 3rd March John from Zoo Lab came into school to show us various animals and tell us lots of information about them. We were able to touch some animals like, Cedric the corn snake, Husky the rat, Sammy the African Land Snail and Milli the millipede. We found it very interesting. Did you know that a frog doesn't use its tongue to swallow like you and I, it uses its eyes to push down the food. We also got to see Charlotte the Chilli Rose Tarantula. Thankfully she stayed safely in her box. We found out that she eats flies, spiders, insects and sometimes her own babies!

The snail felt slimey.

Milli was 24cm long, so she should have around 240 legs
