On Monday afternoon we were so excited to see the arrival of 'Living Egg'. We were given 11 eggs in an incubator and we were to have the great pleasure of watching them hatch.

On Tuesday the first egg began to shake and then a crack appeared. By the end of the day we had two lovely new chicks, Fluffy and Georgina.

By Thursday night we had 5 chicks altogether, 2 males and 3 females.
We have been weighing and measuring the chicks and look forward to feeding them worms next week.

Unfortunately no more of the chicks hatched.
